Comic Books Now Available Online at Openlygeek.com
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 4, 2008 -- Today, Openlygeek.com announced the addition of comic books to it's store's offerings. The new section can be found at: http://www.openlygeek.com/comics.
"We're very excited about this latest addition," said Nicholas Romeo, President at Openlygeek.com. "It is yet another aspect of our culture which is now available at our store."
Other notable additions have been a growing selection of board games including European imports as well as an evolving HDTV section where the selection has grown outside of Openlygeek.com. "If we can't offer it ourselves for any reason then we'll show you somewhere else to get it," said Romeo.
The new comic book section is broken down into books which are shipping now and pre-orders which can be used to reserve copies of your favorite comics up to one month in advance of the book's release.
Romeo promises cheap shipping and reliable packaging. "We have special boxes specifically for the use of shipping comics, and every single comic comes in a bag with a cardboard back."
All of the major publishers are currently available including Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, and IDW. There are plans to extend the selection in the very near future but Romeo is currently tight lipped on the subject. "We have some exciting things planned, but until they're ready I have to try and keep my mouth shut."
Openlygeek.com is an online store centered around geek culture. The store can be found at: http://www.openlygeek.com.
