Russellville Electronics Brings Business Online
(PRWEB) March 31, 2008 -- www.RussellvilleElectronics.com may be new to the Internet, but store owner Shirley Caudill is no stranger to the business. "I have been in the electronics business with a national chain for 30 years," explains Shirley, who retired from retail but did not want to retire completely. "I mentioned I was thinking of doing an electronics web page to one of my suppliers and they immediately invited me to let them drop ship merchandise from their warehouse. It has been a joint effort with them, and I have been excited about all the new things I have learned in setting up this web page."
The store itself carries a wide array of electronics, from items as basic as quality cables to merchandise as complex as security systems and GPS units. "We add new products almost daily," says Shirley. "We purchased about 90 percent of our products from our original chain store, and the balance we shopped from several vendors for items we could not get from our main supplier."
In keeping with the customer service mindset of a retail store owner, Shirley has also opened a blog at www.RussellvilleElectronics.net, interacting with her customers directly and allowing them access to communication with her for comments and questions. "The blog is a new challenge, and I am sure I will find many interesting things to put on it along with promoting the business," she explains. "I can hardly wait to get into the process of working with the customers and taking care of their needs."
Shirley is already looking to open a second web page with products that complement her electronics store, linking the two together to give her clients more options for shopping. "I will have it on the site within the next 6 months," she explains, always thinking ahead toward success. "I have two children, and I plan on passing the business on to them some day when I don't need any more challenges."
